Requests for Change of Mailing Address to a Third Party

You may elect to have your SDG&E bill mailed directly to a third party you choose (billing service, energy management company, energy service provider, relative or friend).

See the Special Circumstances section below for additional information and procedures if you are requesting this service on behalf of the customer of record or co-applicant.

Special Circumstances

If you are a third party such as a property manager, facility manager, billing agent or accountant requesting a mailing address change on behalf of the customer of record or co-applicant, the customer of record or co-applicant must complete and submit both

If the customer of record or co-applicant is unable to initiate a mailing address change, due to disability or illness, a third party such as a parent, adult child, brother/sister, roommate or caregiver may request the change.

In this case, the requestor must submit both:
