Sign Up for Google PowerMeter

To sign up for Google PowerMeter, you must meet the following criteria:

1. You must only have one electric Smart Meter installed.

Customers with more than one meter are not eligible for Google PowerMeter.

We are currently rolling out Smart Meters to its 1.4 million customers, starting in the North County of San Diego, moving to central, east and south San Diego County in 2010, and finishing in southern Orange County by the end of 2011.

2. You must register for SDG&E’s My Account.

If you are not already enrolled in My Account, you can enroll online at no cost.

If you don’t already have one, you can get one from Google at no cost.
