Google PowerMeter
Be one of the first in the nation to use the Google PowerMeter
We are making it easier for you to view your energy use online.
We are collaborating with Google™ to provide you with choice, control and convenience in how you can view your energy information online.
In order to access the Google PowerMeter, customers must meet all of the following criteria.
1. You must only have one electric smart meter installed.
Customers with more than one meter are not eligible for Google PowerMeter.
Customers who have had smart meters for at least three months will be able to sign up for Google PowerMeter through My Account, SDG&E’s online energy management service. The three-month wait is needed to test, compare and verify a customer’s account data.
We are currently rolling out smart meters to our 1.4 million customers, starting in the northern part of San Diego County, moving to central, east and south San Diego Counties in 2010, and finishing in southern Orange County by the end of 2011.
If you do not currently have a smart meter, visit our map to see when yours will be installed.
Go paperless and receive and pay your bill online, it’s fast, easy and secure.
2. You must register for SDG&E’s My Account.
If you are not already enrolled in My Account, you can enroll online at no cost.
3. You must have an iGoogle™ personalized homepage account.
If you don’t already have one, you can get one from Google at no cost.
