Rotating Outage Status
Here are the blocks, circuits and areas shown in the order they would be affected by rotating outages. This listing shows only the first five hours of potential outages and does not list blocks beyond this five-hour window. All blocks are listed in numerical order (1A through 151).
The colors show a circuit’s status in the outage rotation. Group 1 (red) circuits are always the next to experience an outage, if needed.
This page is updated daily, or in near-real time as rotating outages occur. The information may change frequently, so check the status of your block often.
| Restored
Circuits that had rotating outages earlier today but are now restored. |
Restoring
Circuits experiencing technical delays during restoration. |
Current Outage
Circuits currently experiencing rotating outages. |
| Group 1
Circuits up next for rotating outages, if required by the ISO. |
Group 2
Circuits to experience rotating outages after Group 1, if necessary. |
Group 3
Circuits to experience rotating outages after Group 2, if necessary. |
| Group 4
Circuits to experience rotating outages after Group 3, if necessary. |
Group 5
Circuits to experience rotating outages after Group 4, if necessary. |
Temp. Exempt
Circuits that are temporarily exempt from rotating outages. |
The time shown for circuits experiencing an outage is the approximate start time for the outage. A rotating outage will last approximately 60-90 minutes.
The "bandwidth" (number of circuits) within each group may change, based on the amount of power demand the ISO orders SDG&E to drop. The circuits listed are those believed sufficient to cover any rotating outage orders for today. However, more circuits may be added to the rotation depending on how long the supply shortfall lasts.
