Savings Tailored to Your Business
With Energy Savings Bid, you can design your own incentive plan for your energy-efficiency retrofit projects. Earn larger incentives by performing large energy saving retrofits, combining a group of smaller projects, or even combining projects from different locations. Incentives can be up to 100 percent of the project’s cost and custom incentive amounts may be requested. You can also maximize your savings by financing your upgrades on your SDG&E bill.

How to Apply
Step 1: Benchmark your facility and include a copy of your Statement of Energy Performance from ENERGY STAR® with your application.
Complete the Energy Savings Bid Application and Forms:
Step 2: Review Policy Manual
Policy Manual (pdf): Learn more about the program, eligibility, what projects qualify, verification requirements, incentives and more.
Step 3: Complete forms and provide timeline for implementation.
- Program Application (pdf): Provide us with basic information on your business, your project sponsor, your site, projected energy savings and project costs.
- Project Information Workbook (xls): Enter details about the project, including the project's site, the measures that are existing and those to be installed.
- Sample Agreement (pdf): Establish the guidelines for your project and complete the application process.
- Measurement & Verification Plan: Create your own or have an SDG&E Engineer create one for you. SDG&E must approve all plans.
Step 4: Email an electronic copy of all forms and documentation.
