Available Rebates:
Attic or Wall Insulation - $0.15 per sq. ft. Up to 40 percent of home heat loss is due to inadequate insulation. With proper insulation, you could save about $18 a month (or up to 25 percent) on your winter heating costs. Insulation levels are specified by R-Value, which is a measure of insulation's ability to resist heat traveling through it. To receive a rebate, attic insulation must be R-30 or better. Wall insulation must be R-13 or better.
Pool Pumps and Motors - $200 Many pools are equipped with larger pumps than needed. Replacing standard pool pumps and motor assemblies with high-efficiency or multi-speed units can save energy, with virtually no reduction in cleaning effectiveness. Variable speed pumps allow you to reduce pump speed or you can reduce filtration run time with a single-speed pump. Reducing the filtration time by two hours per day (for a 1hp pool pump) can save an average of $10.00 per month.

Room Air Conditioners - $50 Replacing a 10-year-old room air conditioner with a new ENERGY STAR® qualified model can save an average of $14 a year on your electric bill. Qualified room air conditioners often include timers for better temperature control.
Clothes Washer - $35 According to ENERGY STAR® guidelines, replacing a clothes washer that is more than 10 years old could save you more than $137 a year. These qualified washing machines use 37 percent less energy and over 50 percent less water than conventional washers. When you purchase a new washing machine, you may also qualify for a rebate starting at $85 from SoCal Water$mart*

Electric Water Heaters - $30 Efficient electric storage water heaters must have an Energy Factor (EF) of 0.93 or greater. Look for the EF rating on the water heater specification sheet or on the packaging box; it does not always appear on the water heater label itself. This rebate is limited to electric storage water heaters that are 30 gallons or greater. If qualifying product is replacing an existing unit, the existing unit must be electric.
Natural Gas Water Heaters - up to $75 Efficient natural gas storage water heaters must have an Energy Factor (EF) of 0.62 or greater to qualify for the $30 rebate or 0.67 or greater to qualify for the $75 rebate. Look for the EF rating on the water heater specification sheet or on the packaging box; it does not always appear on the water heater label itself. This rebate is limited to natural gas storage water heaters that are 30 gallons or greater. If qualifying product is replacing an existing unit, the existing unit must be natural gas.
Central Natural Gas Furnace - $200 Please note that not all ENERGY STAR qualified models will qualify for a rebate. Must have a 92% Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE). Your C20 contractor should be able to assist in choosing the qualifying equipment. A list of qualifying equipment is available at Energy Star or call us at 1-800-644-6133.
