Overview

Annually, all municipalities that attach ornamental lights to streetlight poles connected to SDG&E service are required to submit the Annual Decorative Lighting Contract. The report is used for billing purposes to track electric consumption charges for all ornamental lighting used throughout the calendar year.

Why do I have to submit the annual ornamental lighting contract?

In accordance with Special Condition 10 in SDG&E’s Lighting Rate Schedule LS-1  and Special Condition 9 in SDG&E’s Lighting Rate Schedule LS-2 , all municipalities are required to report each ornamental light connected to unmetered streetlight poles throughout the current calendar year by completing an Ornamental Lighting Contract  . 

What action do I need to take?

Annually you must complete the Annual Decorative Lighting Contract. Your Account Executive will reach out to you each year with the important dates.

How do I submit my contract?

Download and complete the contract.

Return the contract to your assigned Account Executive via email by February 1 of the following calendar year.

SDG&E will review and follow up with any questions.
