Save money on operating costs, reduce energy use, and improve the quality of your properties with the Energy Upgrade California Multifamily program. Get the technical assistance you need to make comprehensive energy efficiency improvements, and earn incentives ranging from $550 to $1,500 per unit for whole building energy efficiency upgrades.
Through this whole-building approach, we can help you maximize energy savings, improve comfort, and lower your utility bills throughout the year. You work directly with a participating HERS Rater to help you to determine which improvements are best for your property, fill out necessary paperwork (including rebate/incentive forms) and conduct safety compliance checks.
Incentives are based on percentage of modeled savings for the whole building and are calculated per unit as detailed below:
