EMF Measurement Request

You are bound to encounter portions of the EMF spectrum in your day-to-day life. At SDG&E we are committed to serving our community by offering EMF health education, literature as well as an informed staff to talk with our customers about EMF issues.  Upon request, a representative will conduct EMF measurements in a customer's home or business.

• A measurement will take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on if an interior and or exterior measurement is requested. Interior measurements will include all of the main spaces of the home or business as well as some of the appliances and the exterior measurements will include the entry and the four corners of the property, the smart meter and solar invertor if applicable. The measurement will be followed up with a PDF version of the measurements that will be emailed to you.

We won't be able to interpret the results because no level of exposure has been determined to be unsafe.  Please fill out the below request form and click submit and one of our representatives will respond to your request within three business days.
