Local Institutional Partnerships

Program Partners

The Local Institutional Partnerships are unique programs that aim to achieve cost-effective, immediate and persistent energy and demand savings.

These partnerships establish a permanent framework for a sustainable, long-term and comprehensive energy management program geared towards energy efficiency, sustainability and climate change reduction goals.

The CDCR Partnership is a statewide energy-efficiency program that accomplishes immediate and long-term peak energy demand savings through sustainable, long-term and comprehensive energy management programs at CDCR institutions served by California’s four investor-owned utilities (IOUs).

A Brighter Future

We have partnered with the University of California (UC), California State University (CSU) and California Community Colleges (CCC) campuses to help them achieve their greenhouse gas emission reduction goals and commercialize new technologies that can benefit the broader community. Through incentives for equipment improvements and training, as well as tools to help reduce energy consumption, we are helping them make their operations more energy-efficient.

NEED PROSY HELP.

The University of San Diego and SDG&E are working together to reach the University’s overall goal of creating a more sustainable campus with a smaller environmental footprint.

USD strives to reduce overall energy consumption, reduce campus demand, increase the use of renewable energy, and educate campus audiences in identifying and adopting energy savings practices not only on campus, but also in their careers and homes.
