Energizing the San Diego Economy
SDG&E bolsters the local economy through its support of workforce development organizations, community colleges, chambers of commerce, economic development corporations, local industry associations, and other non-profit organizations that assist local small businesses in creating and retaining jobs. When these businesses succeed, all of San Diego succeeds.
Here are a few of the non-profits SDG&E supports:
Accion San Diego creates economic opportunity for primarily lower-income business owners who lack access to traditional sources of credit. SDG&E supports Accion’s technical assistance program to strengthen the financial organization of emerging entrepreneurs, helping them to thrive in their neighborhood communities.
