Terms and Conditions

Online Account Management Usage Agreement

You may use this Letter of Authorization (LOA) management system ("Consent to Share") only if you have agreed to take part in Consent to Share by properly registering a User ID and password consistent with these Consent to Share Terms and Conditions. Use of Consent to Share is furnished subject to the Terms and Conditions of the SDG&E Web site and, if applicable, the Mobile Terms and Conditions, which are incorporated herein by this reference, as well as these Consent to Share Terms and Conditions, all of which shall apply in all respects related hereto.

Online LOA Management Service

Consent to Share allows you to access online LOA management services specific to your SDG&E account(s) and/or the accounts of those Customers you are authorized to access. Available services under the Consent to Share umbrella include the ability to create, submit, revoke, and cancel LOAs, as well as manage other LOA information (some of these services are also available, in whole or in part, without the use of Consent to Share). SDG&E plans to add additional online services to Consent to Share, as appropriate, in the future.

SDG&E reserves the right to modify or discontinue any or all services or features of Consent to Share at any time without notice, or to offer specific programs only to Customers meeting applicable qualifications.

User Requirements

Specifically, by participating in Consent to Share you have agreed that:

You are subject to these Consent to Share Terms and Conditions as long as you take part in Consent to Share, including all its online services. By selecting the "I Agree" button when registering for Consent to Share, you are confirming that you accept these Consent to Share Terms and Conditions (or any future modifications thereof) - as a pre-condition to your being granted access to Consent to Share. When you meet the above requirements, or the requirements stated after this for any following online utility service, you will receive an e-mail message from SDG&E confirming your registration in Consent to Share.

Password Guidelines

The unique User ID and password (collectively, "Password") selected by you to access Consent to Share must be held on a confidential basis by you and not given to other people. Anyone with knowledge of your Password can gain access to Consent to Share and all the services available within the account. If you have forgotten or lost your Password, online reminder capabilities are available to assist you in remembering it. As a condition of use, you must use the Password Change feature immediately if you believe your Password has been lost or stolen. If you encounter any problems using the Password Change feature, you can contact SDG&E immediately by email or by calling 1-800-411-SDGE (7343). You are responsible for maintaining the Password against improper disclosure. One of the terms and conditions of this agreement is that you are solely responsible for any claims, losses, damages, expenses and costs incurred by the use of your Password by others. SDG&E reserves the right to reset any Passwords.

By using Consent to Share, you will automatically receive email notifications for any LOA transaction you are participating in either as a Customer or a third party. These notifications will be sent to your current email address on file in Consent to Share. Since these are transaction notices pursuant to this agreement between you and SDG&E, you may not "opt-out" from communications related to Consent to Share unless you unregister or cancel your Consent to Share account. You may log into Consent to Share at any time to review your LOA and other information contained therein.
