I wish to receive text messages from San Diego Gas & Electric or its affiliates for payment purpose(s) according to my Text to Pay subscription preferences.

I acknowledge and agree that I can opt out of Text to Pay and related messaging any time by unenrolling from Text to Pay through My Account, or by opting out through individual text messages. I understand that such text messages will be sent to the cell phone number provided herein or any subsequent cell phone number that I designate for Text to Pay. Additionally, I understand that message and data rates may apply. The following SMS Terms of Service also apply.

Program Description

San Diego Gas & Electric allows their customers to register their phone to receive account, payment and billing alerts via SMS (text) messages. There are no premium charges for using San Diego Gas & Electric text alerts. Message and data rates may apply.

Message Frequency 

Subscribers to San Diego Gas & Electric text alerts could receive on average 4 messages per month per alert. The actual number depends how many text subscriptions you are enrolled in.

How to opt-out

To opt-out of the San Diego Gas & Electric text alerts, reply STOP. An unsubscribe message will be sent to your number confirming the cancellation. No further account, billing and payment text messages will be sent after the confirmation message.
