Gridscape had deployed several solar Emergency microgrids. Connecting to the Utilities via GreenButton Connect My Data, Gridscape provides its customers with a turnkey platform for energy savings, monitoring and reports. Gridscape's microgrids operate in two modes: grid-tied and off-grid modes. In the grid tied mode, the microgrid will perform energy savings, demand charge reduction, peak shifting and load management functions. In the off-grid mode, it will island from the SDG&E grid in case of power outage and provide continuous power to the site until power is restored. Gridscape can monitor the grid energy usage in real-time when the microgrid is operating in grid-tied mode.
