Sign up for Text to Pay
Text to pay is a super-convenient and secure way to make payments by text message from your mobile phone.
Just a one-time set-up, and you're done. No need to log in to pay your bill each month.
How does it work?
- Each month, we’ll send you a text notification with the amount due when your bill is ready.
- To pay your bill, just reply to the text message.
- Then, we’ll send you a text message to confirm your payment.
Enroll with My Energy Center. Easy one-time set up.
- Log into My Energy Center
- Click the Billing navigation tab
- Select Text to Pay
- Click the Enroll in Text to Pay button for your account.
- Your Mobile Number will display by default. If not, please add your mobile number.
- Select or Add Bank Account
Using the SDG&E mobile app?
Text to Pay is a few taps away.
- Simply tap the More tab.
- Select Billing Programs.
- On the Billing Programs screen, tap Text to Pay to enroll.
