SDG&E Transmission-Level Interconnection Handbook
The SDG&E Transmission-Level Interconnection Handbook is applicable to all generators, loads, and transmission equipment interconnecting to the SDG&E transmission system that are not otherwise subject to SDG&E Rule 21.
It describes technical and operational requirements for wholesale generators, loads, and transmission equipment connected to the SDG&E portion of the ISO Controlled Grid, and as such the handbook may be modified or superseded from time to time.

The California Independent System Operator (CAISO) interconnection procedures in effect prior to July 1, 2005 were the “Amendment 39” procedures.
The Amendment 39 procedures were applicable to Small Generating Facilities interconnecting to the CAISO Controlled Grid in accordance with Section 1.3 of the SGIP in CASIO tariff Appendix S and to Large Generating Facilities in accordance with Section 5.1 of the LGIP in CAISO tariff Appendix U.
