Mobilehome Park Utility Upgrade Program
The Mobilehome Park (MHP) Utility Upgrade Program is a voluntary statewide pilot program open to mobilehome parks (MHPs) and manufactured housing communities through 2021. The Program began in 2015 and allowed SDG&E to upgrade approximately 10 percent
of MHP residences to direct utility service. On September 28, 2017, the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) approved extending the Program until the earlier date of either December 31, 2021, or the issuance of a Commission Decision regarding a long-term Program.
