Political Activity Disclosure
San Diego Gas & Electric Company (SDG&E) is sponsoring a formal campaign committee to communicate about a proposed ballot initiative that would municipalize the electric distribution system in the city of San Diego. A copy of the proposed ballot initiative can be found here.
Proponents of the municipalization measure, called Power San Diego, have initiated the process to collect voter signatures to place it on the November 2024 ballot. The campaign committee sponsored by SDG&E (Responsible Energy San Diego) has been established in accordance with both state and local election laws and will be subject to campaign disclosure requirements, including all contributions and expenditures. SDG&E is expected to provide most of the funding for the campaign committee.

Green Button Connect My Data allows you to send your energy use data to third party applications (apps). These apps are designed to help you make choices about how much energy you use by providing graphs and tools that can help you find ways to save energy and lower your bill.
Check back often for information about third party apps as they become available.
To authorize third-party vendors to receive your energy use information from Green Button Connect My Data log on to the online service center in My Account. It’s the same place where you pay your bill, get your forecasted bill for the month and analyze your energy use.

Inspection Program
Overview
As part of our program to reduce the risk of wildfires and to improve our response time during an emergency, SDG&E has deployed cutting-edge drone technology for the past decade. In addition to using drone technology to monitor wildfires and pinpoint causes of power outages, we also use drones to conduct aerial inspections of electric and natural gas facilities and equipment in remote areas that are difficult for our ground crews to reach.
