SDG&E’s Consent to Share (CtS) makes it easy to upload your LOAs for processing. There are 2 types of utility LOA forms approved by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC).

Standard CISR Form - 185-1000
This multi-functional Letter of Authorization (LOA) form is used to share information for various reasons. This includes when you’d like to participate in an SDG&E energy or demand response program, collaborate with a solar company or energy service provider, engage in EPA benchmarking and facilitate communication with property management companies. This form allows you to add up to two account numbers. If you have more than two accounts, you can use the service account number template below.
CSR-DRP Form
This letter of Authorization (LOA) is only used when you need to share information with a Third Party to participate in Electric Rule 32 Demand Response program. This form allows you to add up to nine account numbers. If you have more than two accounts, you can use the service account number template below.

Non-standard LOAs
You can submit a Letter of Authorization on company letterhead or in a contract such as a property management agreement. These non-SDG&E forms need to be signed by the customer and provide clear direction and authorization to SDG&E so we can disclose customer data to your Third Party.
