Technical Assistance with Your Grant Application

Our online grant applications are compatible with the following browsers:

  • Internet Explorer® 10

The online application places a cookie on your computer to enable the "Save and Finish Later" functionality. Please access the Help menu of your internet browser to enable cookies if you receive an error message.

If you’re a first-time applicant, you’ll be asked to create a user name and password, which you’ll enter every time you access the online application system.

No, your application is not saved automatically. To ensure application data is not lost, please click on the "Save and Finish Later" button at the bottom of each application page.
 
If you don’t hit “Save and Finish Later,” your application won’t be saved and you’ll have to start all over again the next time you log in.

No, you can start the application, then save and finish it at a later time. Just click on the "Save and Finish Later" button located at the bottom of each application page.

To save an in-progress application, scroll down to the bottom of the page and choose the "Save & Finish Later" button.

When you log in and set up your username and password, we automatically create your account using the email and password information used. You’ll receive an automated confirmation email with a link to use to return to your in-progress applications and your “My Account” page. Add this link to your Favorites for easy access or return to sdge.com and click on the link provided to access in-progress applications.

Once your online application is complete, click the "Review & Submit" button at the bottom of the last page of the application to submit your application. Once you’ve submitted your application, you’ll receive a confirmation email.

Please add [email protected] to your email address book to ensure these messages arrive in your inbox.

Once an application is submitted via clicking the Submit button, the application is no longer available for editing.

Please check your entries to make sure that you’ve entered your username and password exactly. Make sure that you are using the same email address and password used to initially login and create your account.
 
If you still can’t get to your account, please contact the system administrator at [email protected].
 

If you didn’t press "Save & Finish Later" or "Review & Submit" after you left the application, your work was not saved and you’ll need to start a new application.

If you log in to work on an in-progress application and see a blank page, it means you probably did not hit "Save & Finish Later" button before you exited the program and your work was not saved. You’ll have to start a new application.

Please check to see if the email address you are using is different from the one you signed up with, or if the address is either misspelled.

Each time you open the application using the original link from the website and select the "Save & Finish Later" button you create a new application.
